I’m a London-based independent writer and editor specialising in design with a focus on cars and buildings for national and international media including Wallpaper*, Esquire, Building and the BBC. I edit Honda’s customer magazine Dream and write a weekly female motoring column for the Press Association. I have also contributed chapters for a number of books including Car Design Yearbook.

Beyond cars and design I write about art and lifestyle with a focus on the Middle East, act as a consultant for a variety of high-profile clients in the art and design world, and act as a judge on Automotive Interiors Expo.

After eight years writing and editing business magazines, I went freelance in late 2007. Now I attend the majority of the world’s major design and car shows, meeting with some of the leading creatives, to generate features, profiles and analysis pieces. With a background in art and design, and as a design historian, I have tried to place the car in the wider context of urbanism, and the design world.
